go to some bodys elses house or cyber cafe register get new login name and password
i would'nt have thought it would matter what pc you used then to go on the site.

religious forums :D:D:D its always funny when when you say shhh shhh he did not excist :D and its about as true as Harry Potter.
i mean if jedi can get its own religion what does that say about the other religions.

not wishing to offend any body with my veiws(but i am entitled to them in a free country)
Yeah you can register, but when you get back to your own pc you can't get onto the site to sign in. Maybe just changing your IP address works, but I'm sure I've tried that before.

I don't say Shh Shh, lol. I have done a lot of research and know a lot more about Christianity than most(even most believers). So i don't need to be hush hush about it :D.

I know a lot about Christianity, most of which disproves it(or the standard mainstream beliefs anyway), without even going into a debate about God. If i go into that, it takes it to another level. Disproving God not only disproves Christianity, but any mainstream monotheistic religion.

But anyway, this is a recording forum... ;)

what you think they plant a tracking chip on you or something:confused:? get on another computer at the library or a friends house and make a fake hotmail or yahoo email and away you go.............unless jesus is the one who banned you
I don't know what happened, but i couldn't/can't access the sites even to view anything that's going on, nevermind logging in. So even if i did make the new account, i couldn't log-in at home.

Which country is that? I'd like to move there.

;)

well its not exactlly free it cost an f@@king fortune to live in the uk:D
everything cost twice as much as everywhere else

the only thing free is you opinion (whether it get you in trouble or not)

normally i can not give mine away:D

sorry thats not exactly true as long as you are only speaking about white hetrosexual males

everything else is taboo due to political corect madness:D

I haven't logged on here for a while and I'm stunned that Rick was banned.

I didn't get to read Rick's "Manifesto", nor do I ever want to. I can only imagine what he wrote. I've seen enough of his rantings to afford me a clue.

Then again, perhaps I shouldn't be all too stunned that Rick was banned.

Rick has always had a habit of allowing his mouth to get in the way of his brain, but no more or less than many of us have at one one time or another.

Rick is not all that different than I am, or for that matter many of us are at times.

We all stick a foot in our mouth now and then.

All things aside, Rick has a good heart and he is passionate about studio construction. He's vocal about his passion and he wears his heart on his sleeve and he also doesn't take kindly to reading the same old questions being asked over and over and over and over again.

I can understand Rick's point of view to a certain degree.

From reading...I discern that Rick was sorely dissapointed that Dragon has never responded to Rick's posts or emails in regard to allowing Stickys.

I think Rick should have thought things through before he went totally ballistic on Dragon for a number of reasons.

The best way to contact Dragon is via PM.

Rick could have figured that out for himself if he had been reading Dragon's post over the few months.

Rick accused Dragon of having ignored his posts and emails. WTF!

For what it's worth, I'm calling Rick out for his failure to read the posts that Dragon has made over the past few months since his return to the forum.

I have respect for Rick and I'm confident enough to know that if Rick had actually been reading anywhere other than the Studio Building Forum he would have known that Dragon had suffered a heart attack in the past and endured other problems that led to his long absence.

Two rights don't make a wrong.

RICK and Dragon both made mistakes as far I am concerned.

I have no clue as what Rick had written (I'm certain it was really really bad) but I think Dragon needs to cut Rick some slack.

It's not as if Rick threatened HR by stating his desire to begin his own forum.

I'm just saying I like Rick.

Rick is REALLY REALLY REALLY important to the continued success of HR and if you (Dragon) don't reinstate Rick's membership....any continued decline or interest at HR falls squarely on your shoulders.

Make the right decision.

WOW...I saw that comment and wondered about you. Then I saw your age of only 19, and it made sense. :D

Again,,as you say,,,thats another forum! ;)

....and i noticed that Dragon was of no help to anyone here for a long period of time. Now he may have his reasons, but he left noone "in charge".
Read my last my latest post. You'd also do do well do to climb down off that fucking high horse you sit on.

Dragon has had health issues in the past and he had no reasons at all to leave someone else in charge....much less a 19 year old know it all.

Get a grip, kid!

I read elsewhere, but have never came across this. That explains it then... I have also had problems(and still do), but still came to the forum as often as i could, but i understand why Dragon wouldn't.

Hah! I know a lot more than most my age, and above, about religion. ;)

I've had problems too(Cancer, chest pains which lead to panic attacks and anxiety)... I don't sit on a high horse. If you read what you quoted of mine, you'd see that I openly said that he may have had his reasons, and by your latest post, it appears that he does.

I'm not a know it all. I will openly admit that that i have limitations like anyone else, but i do know a lot for my age with regards to acoustics, and many other areas of music, religion, and a few others. I always try to understand new things, to the best of my ability.

I have been here for around 2 1/2 years, and contribute almost daily, so i'd have thought i would be a candidate for a moderator(and i have experience in other forums), as would others who have been here longer and spend more time here than myself.

Hah! I know a lot more than most my age, and above, about religion.

Most 19 year olds think that do....dont they???

I've had problems too(Cancer, chest pains which lead to panic attacks and anxiety)...

I wonder why?? ,,,Hmmmm???

Just remmber god of the industry,,,you were still just a drop in your dads left nut, when most on here were actually laying tracks in real Studios. ;)

Sometimes its better to listen and learn then think you know all the answers about life.

Not startin a war here,,,,just see this too often when kids think they have all the answers,,,,and are actually clueless!!! :o

Ok..back to our regularly scheduled program.....

Peace

I dont think its all about the hours one puts in on here (some people have "working" lives) but its also about an attitude, REAL knowledge, and how you present yourself. Maybe some areas for you to think about my friend. ;)

Well they probably do about certain topics. I do about religion and music. There are many areas I'm completely clueless about, and many where i have average and below average knowledge.

I wonder why?? ,,,Hmmmm???
Are you implying God gave me cancer? So loving of him...

I'm not God of the industry. I simply said that i know a lot about the music industry for my age. I have a hell of a lot to learn, but I am learning. Yes many here have a lot more studio experience than myself, that is why I'm here. To learn from them.

Sometimes its better to listen and learn then think you know all the answers about life.
I've never said i know all the answers about life. I do listen, and therefore learn. I also use my own mind to work through problems.

Not startin a war here,,,,just see this too often when kids think they have all the answers,,,,and are actually clueless!!! :o
And what evidence do you have that i am clueless? Also i don't think i have all the answers. All i claim is that i know a lot about a few topics I'm interested in.

I do have a working life outside of this. I'm building my own music business.

I put in hours on here because there are a lot of more knowledgeable people here(from around the world) than myself that i can learn from. I also give my fair share of advice for topics i know something about. I have gained real knowledge from many sources, including here, and have been told a few times that i'm quite eloquent in my presentation.

The last thing that I saw
As I lay there on the floor
Was "Jesus Saves" painted by an atheist nutter
And a British Rail poster read Have an Awayday - a cheap holiday - Do it today!

I ad 6 months off from this board and it's been good. Kind of refreshing to be back. Not in the least surprised rick has finally shot his own foot off or that pandamonk is still on a soap box giving out advice he read on this site like he thought of it first. It's a fun place to be at times. At the end of the day it's all about the music, not oppinions so shut the fuck up already and press record!

weren't you the kid trying to build a soundproof shed a while back?:D

Yeah :D. A shed built on to an brick-built bomb shelter. It's all built(apart from a few doors) and works really well, apart from a small leak in the roof which were trying to sort just now.

Haha, nice to have to back LemonTree. I don't give advice like i thought of it first. Well at least i hope it doesn't seem like i do. Obviously i have my own input into every bit of advice i give, but that's because of the uniqueness of every request.

Anway Thanks for remembering me :p

What a fucking asshole you are to pile on a guy about his health problems - cancer, no less. You may be 44 years old or whatever, but you apparently have a long way to go in learning about tact and respect. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Oh and one other thing - there is never any reason to have 2 or more commas in a row.

(sorry to resurrect this thread, btw. This kinda thing just really irks me - the whole "you are young so you can't possibly know anything" mentality.)

Thanks Andy.

I've had to grow up pretty quick in the last 5 years, so i do take offense at being told i don't know anything, especially how hard i've worked to have the knowledge i do, and what I had to go through in the past year(palpitations, in and out of hospital because of it, leading to panic attacks and anxiety, and i still managed to get my Music & Audio Technology HND!

Anyway, thanks again for sticking up for me. :)
