I haven't logged on here for a while and I'm stunned that Rick was banned.
I didn't get to read Rick's "Manifesto", nor do I ever want to. I can only imagine what he wrote. I've seen enough of his rantings to afford me a clue.
Then again, perhaps I shouldn't be all too stunned that Rick was banned.
Rick has always had a habit of allowing his mouth to get in the way of his brain, but no more or less than many of us have at one one time or another.
Rick is not all that different than I am, or for that matter many of us are at times.
We all stick a foot in our mouth now and then.
All things aside, Rick has a good heart and he is passionate about studio construction. He's vocal about his passion and he wears his heart on his sleeve and he also doesn't take kindly to reading the same old questions being asked over and over and over and over again.
I can understand Rick's point of view to a certain degree.
From reading...I discern that Rick was sorely dissapointed that Dragon has never responded to Rick's posts or emails in regard to allowing Stickys.
I think Rick should have thought things through before he went totally ballistic on Dragon for a number of reasons.
The best way to contact Dragon is via PM.
Rick could have figured that out for himself if he had been reading Dragon's post over the few months.
Rick accused Dragon of having ignored his posts and emails. WTF!
For what it's worth, I'm calling Rick out for his failure to read the posts that Dragon has made over the past few months since his return to the forum.
I have respect for Rick and I'm confident enough to know that if Rick had actually been reading anywhere other than the Studio Building Forum he would have known that Dragon had suffered a heart attack in the past and endured other problems that led to his long absence.
Two rights don't make a wrong.
RICK and Dragon both made mistakes as far I am concerned.
I have no clue as what Rick had written (I'm certain it was really really bad) but I think Dragon needs to cut Rick some slack.
It's not as if Rick threatened HR by stating his desire to begin his own forum.
I'm just saying I like Rick.
Rick is REALLY REALLY REALLY important to the continued success of HR and if you (Dragon) don't reinstate Rick's membership....any continued decline or interest at HR falls squarely on your shoulders.
Make the right decision.
