There's two sides to every story. Clearly John felt that the Chinese unfairly appropriated his work. However, his work is closely based on "borrowing" from companies like AEA and Royer, so some might see this as a "pot and kettle" situation. And the Chinese seem to feel that Nady simply contracted with them for a design, and that they did the actual design work. From their perspective, he is unfairly claiming their work as his own. So it's not a simple situation.... I read a post by John Nady saying how his design and NRE which he had invested tons of $$ and time into was ripped-off by the Chinese company he partnered with and sold to anyone who could afford it, so I got pissed at the Chinese.
John learned (the hard way) that you have to be very careful with to spell out contractual relationships, especially when they span cultures. People don't always look at things the same way. And since the Chinese aren't likely to participate in forums like this one, you're much more likely to hear John's side of the story than theirs.
