Any Yall Know Who Just Ice (sir Vicious) Is?

AND

Is Def Jam's DMX is really the same dude as Cool DMX that was the human beat box for Just Ice?

I know there is DMX that was with Just ice on Latoya, then there is Davy DMX back in the day with Kurtis Blow, Jeck and Hyde, etc..........There are many arguments of who is the original DMX. I know of a cat back in the day in Boston that many say was the "Original" DMX (Beatboxer) and his whole gig, name and style, was bitten and reproduced by some other cat from N.Y.
So that's another argument. But in a nutshell, there are many DMX's. Who's the original? I can't co-sign any of them...

But Just Ice's DMX and Davy DMX are (2) different DMX's.

Hope that helps...........

well cool - was up wit Just Ice!!! he should be inducted into the VH1 hip hop honors or soemthing!!!

i was listening to just ice ft krs one back in the day, some old school for you right there. just ice also had grillz way back in the day, propz to him!

Just Ice was real hot back in '88-'89ish.............Either he went deep cover or he literally vanished, because he didn't stick around too long.(Mainstream wise) Plus, if I may add, alot of these dudes jumped into the production aspect of the game, and Ghost writing. And many of them, if not most, had to jump back to a 9-5......
One thing to realize too, alot of the old school heads were already 25-30 years old coming out the gates.
I think Justice has gotta wait in a long line of legends in front of him, in my opinion!

He was hot though!

I FEEL U - BUT he had that shit bangin for a minute - a hot minute - he got overshadowed and outshined - but that maaphucka still deserve some kind of SPOT in the official annals of hip hop . .

No doubt!

It's funny that his style of hiphop was considered hard back then. Real hard hitting track!
Not trying to be funny, but Kwame was a hot ticket around that time too! Very comical and colorful, but lyrics and beats were hot!

true dat!! hell kwame was the mutha fuckin man - till biggie dissed him - im still pissed at that - lol

i remember hearing that dmx (tha one that barks) named himself after a drum machine...

The whole DMX tag came from the drum machine. The Modern day DMX is like the 9th DMX I heard of in the game.
I don't know if y'all remember, but in the mid 80's there were 8 different Spoonie Gee's.....

Biting has become a sport!

Hell Yea! Im Trippin Off Jay Z's Latest "bite" Taking Rakim's Stuff - But At Least He Fninally Made Mention Of The Source Of A Bite - In General Makin The Reference Keeps It Out Of The "biting" Zone - But Damm He Kinda Shitted On Waht Rakim Was Going For . . . When Rakim Did It - It Was Emphasizing Hip Hop Culture - Not Street Husslin N Illegal Shit - Jay Z Just Flipped It To De-emphasize Hip Hop N Promote The Illegal Shit - N This From The "#1" Hip Hop Artist On The Market Today? Sad Sad Sad Turn For The Bad Where In The Hell Has Hip Hop Gone?

Kwame doin his things on the production side of the house now..so he still gettin his paper..
