To add realism to my MIDI tracks, I have used the Logical Editor to randomise the velocities. This is fine. I used a similar condition to slightly randomise the Position of the notes, to add a bit more human feel... but there's a problem.
To put this in perspective, this is for a MIDI bass guitar track. I am dealing with a simply bass line, such as A|--5-5-5-5-5-5-- (tablature).
Every other note, instead of sounding properly, is beginning to sound but is cut much too short. However, when I move this "cut short" note up or down a semi tone, it plays for its whole duration without being cut short. I can't work out why some of the repeated notes are getting cut out, and is obviously affecting the sound of my track.
If anyone could help me out on this I would be incredibly greatful... there must be a solution..??
