Free plug-in?

Does anyone know of any free signal generator plug-ins at all?
Ive had a look on the net with no luck, so any suggestions would be great.

I'm looking for a plug-in that I can use with Cubase. That looks like a seperate programme.

Yes. Ethan has a great Generator, but it's not a VST. If your just checking your room or your gear it is FANTASTIC. Totally opened my eyes to how bad my room was. Especially right in my mix position.

I don't know of a free VST, but I think Cubase has one built in, don't it?`

edit - it may have just been in Sound Forge.......

It's for production so it needs to be a plug-in rather than stand alone.
Ive looked for a signal generator in Cubase but could't see anything although I would have thought Cubase would have one built in.

I'm not sure I understand what that means.

All you need is a signal generator that'll save it's output to WAV. There's a million of 'em out there that are not plugs, nor do they need to be. Just store a library of WAV files of various key frequencies and drop them into a track your editor. No plugs needed, no CPU cycles wasted.

I need it as a plug in so that I can change the sine wave in the mix. I don't want to have to save a sine wave then import it into my mix then find out its not the right frequency.

Been looking for over 2 hours with no luck aswell.

Its great, just what I was looking for. Its got 2 frequency knobs but I can live with that.
