If ya need some more convincing.

I thought it was red...it looks the first pic....

but I've a Marshall AVT.

Nah I just don't want ya to visit :)

ACTUALLY, if ya wanna be really insulted go listen to he slide in the Dylan song I did in the mp3 mixing clinic. It's through an ACBoxCombo modeller! :)

Blasphemy. You know me man, I'd actually really like to have my AVT 50 back, I'm considering grabbing a head version soon for the beautiful cleans that amp has. And why can't I come visit, I've never been to the mother land.

It has got some cool cleans. Actually today I was playing with the new guitar in the second position...Tele neck pup and Strat middle pup, played a Pearl Jam tune called 'Yellow Ledbetter'. Sounded real nice through the AVT.

My distortion set-up rarely consists of the AVT alone, I put a Marshall SD1 with the level on full and the gain on zero through a DS2.

And yeah, do come visit. It'll be a laugh. We'll go get ourselves something nice, a TSL or something.

Bought this today, Nashville Deluxe Tele, MIM.

Worked my summer job for a month and wanted to treat myself though I can't really afford it! Ah well. Plays real nice and that strat pup in the middle means I can knock things outta phase and cut out the noise.
Nice! :) :)

TSL? Why not just throw a metal zone in front of your AVT, just about the same thing LOL. Orange baby, Orange is the only way to go.

BS you cant write off a Marshall. Plus an Orange? I'd have to mortgage the house I don't have and sell my body to True!

What? Hey I recorded a TSL and it was bees in the can city man. I probably could've dialed it in better but it wasn't friendly to record, I don't like recording triple recs either, must be something about the Triple. Last time I checked a Rockerverb 50 was cheaper than a TSL, maybe that isn't the case in the land of the Ire's.

Depends, I imagine some of the Brit stuff ships from the UK, could account for a price diff.

Nice guitar....I've had my Nashville Power Tele (basically the same guitar except w/ a Fishman power bridge pickup too) for 2 years & love it. They're very versatile!

Cool, I was checkin it out but it was outta my budget! What does the Fishman do exactly?

It's basically an acoustic pickup on a solid body....so it pretty much sounds like an acoustic guitar, although not 100%. It's good for throwing an acoustic part into a live song without switching guitars. You can also blend it with the magnetic pickups for a more "punchier" sound. The jack is a stereo jack so that if you want you can break out the magnetic p/u's & the fishman separately. Cool stuff.

That being said, 95% of the time I'm using the mag p/u's only, though, so I'm sure you'll be happy with yours.

I was actually on my way to the guitar store to buy a Nashville Deluxe when I decided to stop by a used guitar store first & found the Nashville Power Tele.....for less money too!

nice axe tele good choice hope she gives ya years of happyness as for me i like my 65 mustang love the phasing switches and you can get a somewhat tele sound with it too so its adaptable

Total set-back! I had a look at her tonight and was gonna take the action down a bit, it was a little high for me. I tried every Allen key in the place, and nothing works. Had a look inside, and though it's hard to see it looks a little way off hexagonal. I dunno if the threads are damaged or what's going on.

32-20 blues is taking her back to the shop tomorrow, as I can't get time off work. Hopefully they'll make good on it.
