It's not really a matter of whether an amp sim works with your interface. It's whether the interface works with your computer and Reaper, and whether the amp sim works with Reaper. It sounds like your interface is nice and stable, and Reaper is pretty good about compatibility with most VSTs. So I think you'll be OK as long as you're using an operating system that agrees with your UX2 drivers.
The big-name amp sims that I know of are AmpliTube (IK Multimedia), POD Farm (Line 6), and Guitar Rig (Native Instruments). There are dozens of others, all with varying price tags. I hear good things about Peavey's Revalver, which you'd mentioned above.
