in the bottom of a dresser drawer....
Of course, the business that I bought it from is long out of businees and my old phone number doesn't work here in Florida.
My first session with the machine was the very next day, New Year's Day 1978.

Here are a couple little somethings from that first session:

http://media.putfile.com/Zokalo---Classical-Gas (this seems to load very slowly for some reason)
The band was from Chile and we had a distinct language barrier.

Wow.... It's been a while (almost 31 years). The console was a prototype Auditronics 16x8. As for mics, I know I had a couple of Neumann U-67's in there as overheads on the drums. Don't recall the other drum mics though. Other mics that I used in this studio at the time included a couple of Beyer M500 ribbons, a couple of Beyer M69 dynamics, a couple of Teac PE120's, a Sony condenser, an Altec condenser, and, I think I had an RE-20 (possibly on the kick). There were other mics that I don't recall also. I have some pix around here from that session. If I can find them I'll post them later. The pix on the back of the album were shot at a gig that they had where they were the house band.
