Hello,
Quick question,
Looking over the calibration procedures, (Tascam 38)it say to connect a 50kΩ load. the block diagram has a signal generator - attenuator -(which I don't see the need for using the tone generators on the boards output a nominal -10dB signal) AC voltmeter - amp - speaker.
I have a M520 board and a MOdel 5 board. The latter has a 400kHz tone, and the former a choice of 40, 1k and 10kHz. The former's tape inputs indicate a 47kΩ impedance, the latter "Greater than 50kΩ" I'm going to assume using either board as "the load" (and hearing the tone) is going to suffice. Any disagreement there?
