TEAC 3340s.
Just got this stuff.

I'm losing my US-428, in favor of a Delta 1010-LT,as I need more routing ability. It's no longer enough to just work "in-the-box". So- I'll run the outs from the board's 4 busses to the Delta card, and come back out from the Delta card to the board's Submix in (I think), for monitoring/headphones from the M-30. Also I can record from the software> through the board> to the TEAC deck> back through again to the software.

Was using a 424 MKII till a week ago when she made a funny noise and smelled bad..... Just bought a DP-008 and well, Its completely familiar. Not to hard to work with and I haven't even opened the manual... Thank you Tascam!!!!:)

I think 10-12 years on a 424 MKII that had never been cleaned is pretty damn good.:p

Well, since this zombie thread has been awoken, I'll go ahead and add my piece or two to the list:

122b cassette deck
TSR-8 1/2" reel

424mkII (2 of 'em)

Here is my Tascam list, only includes what I still own not what I have owned and sold on:

MX2424 24 Track Digital Hard Disc Recorder with analog card
MSR16S 16 Track Analog recorder Dolby S with remote
MSR16S 16 Track Analog recorder Dolby S with remote (now used for spare parts)
DA20 Dat recorder
3340S (TEAC) 4 Track ¼” With Dolby Unit and remote
M3700 32/32/8 console
M2524 24/24/8 console
M1024 live mixer (for PA work)
PE40 4 Channel Parametric EQ

I have a couple of 2 track cassette decks and another reel to reel in the store room but can't remember the model numbers at the moment.

Thanks for digging this out :D

  • M-3500 32/32/8 mixing console
  • Syncaset 234L-AV cassette deck 4 track
  • 34B reel to reel 4 track 1/4"
  • ATR-60/16 reel to reel 16 track 1"

That's all for now. I'm keeping my eyes open for a 2 track and I'm not sure what to get, yet. I had considered a BR-20 or a 52 as I like the omega transport, but these are hard to find here in Germany. It's much easier to obtain a Studer PR99 but then it's not a Tascam :D

Cheers
Tim

I still have my DP-01/FX. Got it right when it came out. Easy to use, and easy to export to the computer. I've moved on to other equipment, but always make my way back to the Tascam for some reason. :)

I used to run a Teac A3440 along with a Tascam M30 (the latter of which is in my basement storage room) and I loved it.

Now I'm using a DP-01FX. I recently bought a little Porta 02 - just for the fun of it. :)

Dr-100

Just got a DR-100. So far, so good, except for a few anomalies. On-board mic quality is pretty darn good. Anyone else using one of these?

The 1000 was stolen but I've got this...

The cruel and accurate.
