Well, golly, it's 9 now, all cheapies or mid priced guitars that have been worked on, except the Taylor.
Steel String Acoustics
Taylor 710CE -just a kickass guitar, plugged in or mic'd up
Epiphone PR725S (25 years grown old with me) Now it's the camping and dangerous travel axe.
Ibanez ME Day Tripper- good backpack guitar
Nylon String Acoustics
Bruno Classical- 1960's vintage, a well made cheap classical
Epiphone C70CE cutaway Selena Signature in gloss black with the rosebud. Most girlie guitar I've ever seen. I don't play nylon string much, it's just a studio guitar.
Electrics
Epiphone SG Special with classic 57 humbuckers. - THe expendable airline axe. The pickups are worth more than the guitar. It's cheap and I love it.
Epiphone Les Paul Custom with classic 57 humbuckers.- Bought used, some guy did a crackerjack fret job on this baby, I put the real pickups in it. The thing rocks. Most of the Kalamazoo or Nashville Les Pauls I've played are no better, and often worse than that axe.
Fender Highway One Telecaster.- A coffee table with a neck screwed on to it. Sometimes you just need the sound of a Fender, and I prefer Teles to Strats for what I do. A workmanlike tool. Very forgiving neck.
Epiphone Casino- My newest project. Mostly it needs its sharp frets filed down by someone with a clue. The sound, even with the stock P-90's in it, is pretty good, but they will get replaced by real Gibsons. The tuners are pretty weak, and will go away soon.
