i understand how it can get outta hand, but i have a decent epiphone acoustic, an electric (ibanez professional), and a nice bass.

after that, some strats, and others have come and gone. I would like a 12 string acoustic very much, they are very inspirational! :)

Well, golly, it's 9 now, all cheapies or mid priced guitars that have been worked on, except the Taylor.

Steel String Acoustics
Taylor 710CE -just a kickass guitar, plugged in or mic'd up
Epiphone PR725S (25 years grown old with me) Now it's the camping and dangerous travel axe.
Ibanez ME Day Tripper- good backpack guitar

Nylon String Acoustics
Bruno Classical- 1960's vintage, a well made cheap classical
Epiphone C70CE cutaway Selena Signature in gloss black with the rosebud. Most girlie guitar I've ever seen. I don't play nylon string much, it's just a studio guitar.

Electrics
Epiphone SG Special with classic 57 humbuckers. - THe expendable airline axe. The pickups are worth more than the guitar. It's cheap and I love it.

Epiphone Les Paul Custom with classic 57 humbuckers.- Bought used, some guy did a crackerjack fret job on this baby, I put the real pickups in it. The thing rocks. Most of the Kalamazoo or Nashville Les Pauls I've played are no better, and often worse than that axe.

Fender Highway One Telecaster.- A coffee table with a neck screwed on to it. Sometimes you just need the sound of a Fender, and I prefer Teles to Strats for what I do. A workmanlike tool. Very forgiving neck.

Epiphone Casino- My newest project. Mostly it needs its sharp frets filed down by someone with a clue. The sound, even with the stock P-90's in it, is pretty good, but they will get replaced by real Gibsons. The tuners are pretty weak, and will go away soon.

Ive only got a nice cheap Legend Stratocaster and a BBEEAAUUTTIIFFUULL classical guitar, but strangely enough i cant find any mark to tell me who made it  i didnt get it new though, so maybe whoever had it before me got rid of the mark inside the body. its a really cool guitar, im thinking about having a pickup installed, and some strap buttons so i can play it properly in gigs, not really sure if i trust the guys at the local guitar shop with it though  .

im after a Fender Telecaster next... and the same guitar shop i dont trust with Theodore (does anyone else name their instruments...? :) ) have this. i havent got round to playing it yet, but i think it looks really good.

i suppose im kinda new to the whole guitar thing... ive had my classical for ages, but only got my electric a few years ago... i wanna buy some effects pedals soon as well.

too big a list, not enough money :(

Sure Andy, I name my axes. It's a tradition. In my case, the guitars are all named after characters from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and "Angel". It works, too. The Taylor is Angelus, the electric guitar with a soul. The cheap black SG with the humbuckers is Spike (with the coffin case-duh). The little blue 3/4 Ibanez is Fred, The Telecaster is Gunn, the Les Paul is Faith. the alternative slayer. The new cherry red Casino is Harmony, and the old Epi acoustic is Giles. Sorry, Darla got sold. She was evil. Guitars without names? Poppycock.-Richie

Early 90's LP Studio (about the only one I play on stage)

Ancient Global 3/4 size (junk, but I've played that guitar more than any other)
Stella
Chicago open-back banjo that looks like Columbus brought it over on the boat
Epiphone mandolin (whatever is the Epi version of an F-5)
a bass that hasn't been out of the case in quite some time (somebody help me remember what the brand name is...it has an aluminum neck, starts with an "H" I think???)

Currently aspiring for a Martin D-18, a Nashville Deluxe Tele, and perhaps a Variax just to be silly...

-Aria Pro II with 0.35 Elites and ridiculously low action for thumb playing

Fender Strat (Mex) (Red & White)
Jackson PS4 (Transparent Blue Finish)
Ibanez 550 (Blue) (Played to death, needs new neck & elecs)
