Currently I have four bass guitars:
an Elrick e-volution Gold Standard four-string
an Elrick e-volution singlecut fretless four-string
an Elrick e-volution singlecut fretted five-string
and a Conklin GT-BD7 fretted seven-string

only 2 for me :(

ESP H-200 custom
Jackson PS-4

both are totally stock at the moment, but hopefully there'll be some active pickups going into the jackson soon. i LOVE the guitar, but the pickups sound like poopie.

I'm going to "build" my original surf guitar sounds around another Ibanez Artcore

dude, screw the new artcores, and see if you can find an original model artist series. those guitars are daaaaaaaaaaamned sweet, and can be found for anywhere from $400-$600. that's IF you can find one! i had an 87 special edition artist series that i ended up getting rid of, and regret the hell out of ditching it...it was the only artist series guitar i'd seen with a floyd rose tremolo, metallic finish of any kind(it was a dark red metal flake), and had factory-installed phase switches/coil taps for each pickup.

however it was also the single heaviest guitar i've ever touched, and the paint chipped off easier than nail polish, so it had to go :(

Alot. My husband and I both play so...alot.

I just realized it's a lot....

I have weird taste in instruments and my fiance and I are both musicians so it gets a little G.A.S.sy:

1 1982 Gibson Les Paul Special w/ cream fralin p90s
1 1964 Gibson LGO acoustic
1 (probably 80s) Burny Firebird VII
1 1977 Austin Hatchet Flying V
1 Epiphone Les Paul Special Double Cut
1 1966 Decca Sunburst
1 Harmony mid 1960s Jaguar Copy
1 Epiphone Thunderbird IV bass
1 Kent mid 60s short scale bass
3 Misc. project guitars, a 60s sparkle drum set and a 1960s Hammond M2

Don't get me started on my amplifiers, they're only for the nerdliest of the nerds (nothing Fender or Marshall).

Every serious guitarist should own at least one electric and one acoustic.

Y'knoow, that Django was pretty good, but he just wasn't serious about guitar. You can tell because he didn't have an electric.

;)

well ... he did some recordings in the fifties with a pick-up rigged in the soundhole of his accoustic. you could say he'd gotten halfway serieus about his playing!!!

Man, you guys/gals are out there. Lots "o" toys. In reply to the originally posted question, "Not enough" tis my reply.

1.) Taylor Acoustic

2.) Taylor 12 string Acoustic

3.) Ibanez AX 220 Slab Electric

4.) Ibanez Artcore AF-85 Full Hollow Body

Got everything I need... love em all... but if my hollowbody (Jezabelle, is her name) is out, I gotta play her. So I don't keep her out much. My others will get jealous. :p
