What I just don't get is that why the Soviet Union was never able to disprove they were on the moon. It would have meant the world back then and they just kind of accepted that the Americans did it.
Why do we think that armchair warriors have more knowledge about space than the two biggest superpowers the world has ever created, who were competing and never had any reason to NOT call each other out? The UDSSR could have destroyed the USA's reputation but they didn't.
Or was the Cold War a conspiracy as well?

Especially cool in that it goes to (and one 'gripe ..like I should fucking have a foot to gripe on' :rolleyes: , have with the NASA / APOD stuff. ..Addresses the color enhancements. Often they're so much to me it seems to make them have less impact -than if they we're more believable if you know what i mean :)

Here's another thought - the authorities that perpetrated the hoax managed to ensure no one (of the 100,000s involved in the project) talked for 45+ years, but they couldn't stop these films describing the hoax going out on mainstream TV channels and YouTube. Seems a bit suspect, doesn't it?
