Here is a quick idea...

I love using nice sounding rooms when I can. I recorded a blues guy with his acoustic in a pretty sounding room, with a Royer Sf-1 on the guitar, a Rode Ntg-2(excellent rejection on their null sides) on the vocals, and two Naiant omnis in the room. Also went through Tape. Sick sound!

Has anybody here done it? Hairball Audio How did it go for you? Any complaints or praises?

Anybody have any experience in preparing audio for a phone line? As of yet I am compressing it to shit as well as low and high passing to death... Apparently All of the frequencies in your voice below 400 hertz and above 3,400 hertz are eliminated. Now whats the dynamic range...

This was a VO I recorded in a noisy room into a closet with a Macbook pro. Rode NTG2 to H6 to Mac. The acting sucks but its the sound that counts...

some people use multitrack harddisk recorders like this And this attach to any mixer which in turn to any outboard gear. But you will have to mix down to another source.

There is only a light verb on the bongos. The soloing guitar has this delay bass is a squier j-bass, run simply like this yeah there is some bleed but it adds character :) I'm using the bluebird on the guitars, bass lined in. shakers and bogos are the rode nt2.
