13 Remastered

I mixed this way back...like 3 years ago. I tried my hand in mastering.... why not have some fun I kind went crazy with my plugins



And the original for reference....



Am I crazy or does sound cloud screw up the High end?!?

Yeah this was a bad track to try and Master, the original is the mix down. If anything I should just run this through the J37...

Good is subjective...I really don't know squat about engineering but I know I find the remastered version much more clear, clean and more listenable but it's just my very novice 60 year old ears..Using two monitors I a and b'd sections and the remastered version sure seemed better to me. Nice tune wish I knew what you saying (lost in translation) but good noise...

oops I meant two video monitors so I could click on one and start stop it when I start stopped the other one ...a true section by section A/B comparison...I was just using some decent KOSS cans. So is that Hebrew you are singing in?

Wow did not catch the espanol ...so....what did you use to master this bad boy? hope it was easy and cheap....like audacity or something

Logic x, with waves hehe. I don't remember the chain. What I remember was CLA 2A, RS56, H-EQ, PuigChild 670, Puigtech eq, L2 then J37. But I might have done something different. Sometimes I use the SSL masterbus instead of the CLA 2A. Depends what the mix is telling me...

The mastered mix sounds better to me. Cleaner and clearer than the original. There's a bit of bottom end on those vocals which is muddy on the original but ballsy on the master.

Wow Im so glad someone picked up on that finally! the Waves H-EQ is great used in MS mode for Cleaning up mixes like that. There are some other goals I had...
