i am micing a randall cab with a sm57 but i can't seem to get a full sound it always sounds flat...and there is major hiss but i think it may be my behringer mixer adding the hiss....now i can't buy a new mixer (no money) but can i get some sort of hiss eliminator that is under 150 or so?

ok i'm the lead guitarist in a band, there is another rthym guitarist he goes for the lows i'm more midrange, i go direct out of a marshall....he goes direct out of a randall. i use a stompbox distortion in front of my marshall...the other guy uses his amp distortion....this is the dillemma...

i have check all the audio property things in my volume control and all that and the line in is set to the middle but as i play i only hear it on the left side....i made sure the 1/4 connector is in all the way .......what could the problem be? as always thanks in advance
