I do hip hop beats and am tired of laying the bass line down manually with a keyboard, i have midi stuff(2x2 midiman, cables and pro audio 9) but do not know the easiest way to get a preformatted bass line that can be just added easy. If anyone has an EASY way to do this please let me know? :cool:

Please someone, I love Portishead, I want to scratch and do live stuff like that, I play keyboard but need that extra bit that I think scratching would do for me, is there any sites you know of about getting started or any advice would be great. There is a pacage in the muscians friend catelog...

I dont know which column to post to so anyway, I want to scratch and i want to do my keyboarding , playing guitar and I need lots of advice about how to do this, I m trying for a "portishead" type sound and wonder if anyone else does this kind of music?

Anyone, Is it possible to take individual tracks from CW and insert them in another software program (samplitude) because i dont like cakes eq, id rather have little knobs that say "low" and "high" and then turn them with my mouse, its fun :p So how do i do that??

I recently got an email from cakewalk that says for a "limited" time they will allow all pro audio 9 users to upgrade to sonar for 150$ What do you all think, especially those that have Sonar, is it worth the extra dough??:confused:

i have a cheap yamaha keyboard and i want to use it as a controller for all the cool sounds in the soundcard of the computer, but when i do I have to turn the volume of the keyboard all the way down because its still playing its sounds. So when i turn it down the midi note is delayed and i cant...
