Looking for recommendation for some type of hardware compressor or limiter to run mixes through. Goal is to try to smooth out mixes and cut some of the harshness I hear at times. Now I'm not talking a Fairchild 670.lol.... Something $1500 or less.

I have very nice external a/d converters/clock,16 channels.If I were to purchase an digidesign 003,while I see it has word clock that I can use the clock in the external conveter.What about how to use the converters themselves? I'm a bit unsure how this would be setup. Thanks

Well, I bite it and bought a 16 channel Apogee AD converter and mini DAC DA converter. I will be waiting to hear how much of a difference it makes over my old motu 2408 mk3.I hear even mixing with the big ben clock in the 16x will make a difference.Anyone will experience?
