Anyone into mixing 5:1 surround? I just got three Yorkvilles (YSM 1P II) and already own a pair of Behringer truths and an Echo Mona which has 6 outs. Just wondering if it's worth remixing my last project and whether I would need a sub woofer or just any 8" woofer for bass.

Just picked up three of these today for $300. Now all I have to do is figure out where I want to use them (Korg vs PC) and work on the set up.

I am finding that about one in four tubes that I buy are quite noisy in my mics. Spits, sparks, bumps, rumbles and such. They usually come with all sorts of test results showing that they are in great shape. Are such tubes still good for amps and preamps or am I just being ripped off?

Anyone know anything about these? I'm guessing it's another kit but being wrong is always an option for me. :) Anyway; Just across the strait from me and no duties so, what the heck!

Saw a thread on this the other day and thought it was about time to give it a try. I'm using the AKG Solid Tube for vocals, a Blue Bluebird for Tenor Guitar and the Golden Age R1 MKII suspended above the vocal mic for the figure eight. Pardon the song and the singing of it.
