Here's a two mic drum recording and mix I did few days ago. Gotta love this technique :) Microphones used: - AKG D112 - Oktava MK-012 MSP2 (Michael Joly modded). Both were recorded through an Api 312 clone preamp into RME ADI-8 Pro converter.

Thanks! I just melodyne'd the vocals in 10 minutes. Maybe something went wrong :) Just the normal parallel compression and stuff. Nothing unusual. Edit: It was not Melodyne. I will fix the vocals.

I've been mixing this now for a few hours. I really like the HUGE room tracks. Did you say 1000 sq feet? I agree that there's no reason not to make the drums huge. I think I'm going to do this without any added reverb! No sample replacement either.
