When I finish a mix in pt le I bounce as a 24 bit file. When I open it up in SF I have to convert it to 16 bit to listen to it. OR should I just run dither on the master track in pt and do the conversion to 16 bit there, before sound forge. ALSO, whats the best file format or most common to...

i just got a MCU for pro tools le and I cant seem to find what i am supposed to select in my pt le to make it function. I know its in periphials(spelling sucks) and i see hui mode on 4 different tabs. Thanks :eek:

I'm using PTLE 6.9 and I'm torn between these two control surfaces. I'm leaning towards the Mackie for a couple reasons. The faders, including the master fader, which is nice. And the jog wheel which i think will come in handy, also the expandability. I did check out the C/8 at GC but wasnt...

I can get a US 2400 for 700.00 from my buddy at G.C. or a Mackie control for 900.00 but i gots to spend another 1000.00 for 2 XT's. I like Mackie products, in fact I replaced a 1604 vlz pro with a 800r. Which was a good move. But I cant justify the xtra dough. What do you think?? Whos using the...
