Hi! I discovered on the forum that you have the schematics for Tascam M3700?
Is it still relevant?
I'm desperately looking for it.

I may have it in storage.. As I recall it was too large to fit into my scanner. Let me see if I can turn it up...

Hey! I saw your post about having a fostex 8786 interface cable. Would you still happen to have that? I may be interested in picking it up if so. Thanks!

Ah. No, I'm actually looking for more interfaces, not looking to sell. I need an 8779 for an MCI JH24, as well. There's a seller on Reverb, Teletech, in Canada, who gets quite a bit of these synchronizers and interface cables. I'd keep an eye out there.

Great post in the "all the lies" thread. I agree and have experienced everything you said. How the hell DO they get those sweet, pleasant highs...but not harshness...how do they get those tight, defined, rich lows...without being boomy or washy? Totally understand what you're saying.

It creates more seperation, gives your ear the impression the low end is tighter and adds an important percussive element. Dave Pensado saturates 9k a little for extra grit/control in one of his (mixing acoustic guitar) videos from memory. So I have this in the back of my mind to try out also.

Had to split this into 3 messages because of character limit. Sorry!

Great man, yeah talk about banging one's head on the wall! That's me, hey. Interesting acoustic guitar eq stuff though. I'll try this out for sure. Do you have any insights on DI bass recording?

When you create a new song - the current song will be saved automatically. At any time while your working on the current song or when you get ready to leave it - you can simply press F2 (Save) - and the song data will be saved. You can also save a song in the song menu (see the manual page 31). Also - anytime you shut the unit off manually - current song data is saved automatically.

When you create a new song - all of the settings from the previous song are carried over. So it's a good idea in many instances to create a blank song template that can be loaded before creating a NEW song - unless of course you want to carry those settings over.

Howdy. No, I'm retired. All that paperwork is monthly/yearly stuff from Uncle Sam, Medicare, doctors, utilities and banks. I save it all for one year then shred it. Subject to change, though. I'm always checking out the local employment scene for light work to supplement my devalued income.

Hi MusicGirl! Did they ever answer your question about the sound not being the same on speakers as through our headphones? I have the same issue.
