Zoom r8 with garage band

Hi.
I’m using my zoom R8 as an interface with Garage band.
It’s all set up as regards to linking up to with my iMac but.
I can hear my guitar from my head phones but can’t add any effects from garage band.

I know it’s some thing to do with the master direct and click daw.
But can’t figure out the combo.

It sounds like you have a direct monitor of your guitar through the R8.

You should be able to turn that off, and in GB, turn on software monitoring, so that you can hear the effects.
