I saw a similar thread from 2014 but the question was not exactly the same.
New to homerecordings and I am currently working with the Zoom R16 unit.
I am recording drums and I use this unit as an audio interface for my Mixcraft 9 DAW system for Windows.
I get a pretty bland sound and I was wondering if running the mics through the TUBEOPTO 8 first and then running this into the Zoom R16 will give me a better sound/or if this setup will even work.
I am just looking for a way to get a better sound coming in on a budget, and there is a good deal on the TUBEOPTO 8 right now.
Any feedback or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you kindly.
