Zoom 223 Drum Machine

:D Yo ED of the Gandydancers:

I have never owned a ZOOMer; however, if it has the capabilities to let you "Program" it with "your" drum patterns, it should work in a similar fashion to the SR16. I've had the 16, a Yam before that, and now the Boss 880 which is one great box. [Nope I don't sell them.]

So, if you can program the Zoom, you have to tap out your beats/cymbals, etc., into measures which, presumably, will fit your song from beginning to end.

I used to program the SR16 but it took too much time. When I'm doing my own stuff, I use a patch. Sometimes it's difficult to END a song gracefully, especially if you are doing original material. So, I use a fade-out ending when I'm in that situation--easy to do and you can add a cymbal, bells, strange effects patch, whatever, as the song fades away.

Sorry I don't know more about the Zoom but I'm sure it has similarities to the SR16 when programming.

Happy New Year
