I Just Read This On Sohh.com - N.e. 1 Else Know About This One?

Buck Put His Hands On A Dj . . N Now Its On N Poppin. . .

A recent incident in Atlanta involving Young Buck has prompted one of the city's radio stations to blacklist the Tennessee rapper from ever being played again.

According to sources, on Sunday (November 26) Young Buck (born David Darnell Brown) performed in Atlanta's Club Nocturnal. After his performance, Buck announced he had some business to handle with Hot 107.9 DJ Will, who was deejaying prior to Buck hitting the stage. Apparently, Buck did not take kindly to Will's decision to play The Game's single "It's Ok (One Blood)" earlier that night, so he headed to the booth and reportedly grabbed DJ Will by his shirt. Although DJ Will stood up for himself, he was outnumbered by members of Buck's entourage who jumped in. As a result, Hot 107.9 program director Jerry Smokin' B has banned Young Buck from the station's playlist.

While the incident has already negatively affected Young Buck's Atlanta airplay, the rapper could also be in serious trouble with the law. As previously reported, Buck is currently on probation as a result of charges stemming from his role in the violence that occurred at the 2004 Vibe Awards.

This incident could also spell trouble for G-Unit's relationship with Lil Jon's BME Recordings because DJ Will is also employed by BME as a DJ for Jon. G-Unit and BME recently entered a partnership that involves the cross promotion of artists including Lil' Scrappy.

This isn't the first time in recent weeks that the G-Unit/Game beef has caused problems in Atlanta. According to sources, Game was involved in a minor altercation with another Hot 107.9 DJ, King Arthur, at an afterparty he hosted following the BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Although during the show The Game announced that he was no longer beefing with 50 Cent, he apparently still took offense when King Arthur played a song by G-Unit because he approached the DJ and the two got into an altercation.

At press time, representatives for both Interscope Records and Atlanta's Hot 107.9 declined comment.

There you go.

I liked Young Buck, I thought his lyrics were raw... Everyone else in G-Unit sucks ass...lyrically

1) I BEG 2 DIFFER REGARDING LLOYD BANKS - HE IS A LYRICAL BEAST! CANT REALLY PRODUCE COMMERCIAL HITS - AT LEAST NOT IN COMPARISON TO 50 AND GAME - BUT LYRICAL BEASTS RARELY CREATE COMMERCIALLY SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS.

2. MORE IMPORTANTLY - I THINK THIS DJ VS. EM CEE BEEF THING IS GITTIN OUT OF HAND. I READ THS ON SOHH.COM - "Everybody knows that you don’t piss off the DJ because they are your life when you’re a musical act. . I don’t give a damn if a DJ spits in your face. You suck that shit up and look at the bigger picture – you need him more then he will EVER need you."
---- NOW THIS IS GOT DAM RIDICULOUS TO SAY, THINK!

I HATE TO TRY N TAKE UP FOR YUNG BUCK ESP. SINCE I WAS NEVER REALLY A BUCK FAN - I PRETTY MUCH LIKED . . . SHORTY WANNA RIDE WIT ME - N THATS IT!!! -

NOW I DONT DEFEND WHAT HE DID - AND AT THIS POINT WHAT TRANSPIRED IS . . . UP FOR GRABS . . . (I DO THINK IT IS ALSO FUNNY THAT THE DJ HE HAD THIS SUPPOSED ALTERCATINO WITH IS EMPLOYED BY THE SAME COMPANY HE IS - BME RECORDINGS - ACCORDING THE SOHH.COM ARTICLE - http://blogs.sohh.com/atlanta/archives/2006/11/young_buck_fuck.html

BUT ITS KINDA STRANGE TO ALL OF A SUDDEN HAVE DJS BATTLIN EM CEES FOR "POWER" . . . . IF YOU ARE "ON THE AIR" U HAVE ALL THE POWER ANYHOW - AND - WELL here is my admitted "bias" - HOW CAN DJ'S PROCLAIM THAT THEY NEED TO STICK 2GETHER - AS IF THEY DON'T ALREADY - ISNT IT THE DJ THAT TENDS TO BENEFIT THE MOST FROM THE PAYOLA THINGS THAT GO ON . . .?

this shit is crazy iown get these artist now adays.. i mean i kno u from the hood and shit but once u got money let yo boys do this shit..... to many cats is leanin on buck im sure its a lot of cats from his hood eatin of him and they cant eat if he locked up.... at least thats my take on things

THATS TRUE - SO TRUE!
AT THE SAME TIME:
--- it could all be fake-ish. G-unit knows how to create scandal and controversy as part of the promotions package for a project. and both buck n dj will have employment contracts & working relationships with BME.

--- aside from this - is it "fair" for dj's to get together and openly say who they are going to ban? i thought "the people" were supposed to make that decision. it would be different if the dj's were saying - "call in and let us know what yall want us to do - although i personally wouldnt believe it"
- as there would probably be on onslaught of "calls" in support of what the dj's wanted to have happen - naysayers would not get a voice - but at least it would have more "appearance" of letting the people decide - as opposed to just . ... letting them have the power to make or break an artist's "career" or "single" b/c of their opinions . . .
so screw what the people want to hear - the dj's have carte blance! oh yea - THATS hip hop . . .

I feel wat u sayin and naw i dont like it but at the same time as artist u gotta get in good wit the DJ..... like said that a artist life line right there his voice to the people

I THINK OVERALL, this is VERY BAD for hip hop! now its open season - which may be the only good thing - if its finally put out in the open - HOW DJ'S AND ARTISTS HAVE BEEN AT ODDS - cuz even before this - if the only way to get your record played is via some type of payola situation - then the beef existed THEN . . .

Why is it everytime I hear Yung Buck's name it usually involves something ignorant? He is making Rappers and Hip Hop fans look bad.

Everyone wants to be respected but at the same time don't respect others. F**k a Young Buck, people will eventually learn that your never the "hardest" in the world. Kinda like my momma used to say, no matter how hard you think you are there is always someone harder and hopefully these ignorant rappers start running into them soon.
Can't wait to read a post "Local DJ knocks Young Bucks teeth out of his head."

lol - i agree wit u on both comments - fab n lloyd are similar - n i honestly think fab got lloyd beat. but i dont really have a prob. wit seein 2 em cees who "share" similar styles - esp. when the lyrical styles are . . . rather . . . complex - yes! i think they do multiples rather well - esp. since they do them in commerical formats . . .

yung buck's teeth out . . . ROFLMAZO-
