Well, their headphone mics...and you can have it on a boom, or inbetween you and the piano like Jerry Lee Lewis used to do.

I'll have to vote for in the stand, cause the hands are busy on the guitar.

Interesting, others comments about stand types, though, I really prefer a boom stand, set a little to the left, and pedal board straight down at my feet. With a straight stand I feel crowded - I'm not, really, and can play behind a straight, I just feel that way, so I guess I'm another looney.
