Thank you all for listening - I appreciate the comments.
Ric: perhaps I should get back to my shrink and see about some of those pills...
Ranger: Thanks man, and - where the hell have you been?
CMiller: yeah, the old "hypnotic guitar trick" - there are also subliminal messages that say: "you like this song, you must buy the CD," and my favorite: "S8-N Rawks!!"
I really did turn this one out in just a few minutes, but that doesn't happen very often -I've got unfinished (and some nearly finished) tunes that have been sitting on my HD for months waiting for me to be inspired.
David: well, actually no - I'm pretty clean these days - the irony here is that my day job is at a drug rehab!!
drstawl: you rock man! I like the way you fill out the chords I'm playing. Nice, and much more melodic -
I've got kind of a laid back hypnotic tune I'm working on, really just a simple progression played over & over that could use some filling in if you're interested in working on it.
Cooperman: thanks, I usually try to kill the Southern drawl in my voice, but didn't bother this time - it kinda grates my nerves to hear it
I'm big fan of JCM, Paul Rodgers (sp?) and a lot other singers of that ilk - I cut my teeth covering those tunes as a teenager.
gibs: I'm thinking about naming the CD "White Trash Blues, Live From Cell Block B."
