for my friends who are wondering whether to buy an m-audio delta 1010 24bit/96 khz recording system or something else, I have news for you.

In a recent review, the delta 1010 was called the "proverbial straight wire(with conversion)."

the reviewer could not hear any tangible difference when he recorded into the delta 1010 via digital or via analog. WOW.

Also, ALL delta products(delta 1010, 66, 44,etc) now ship with MAT. Maximum Audio Tools is centered around Logic Delta, which provides 24/96 recording and is optimised for the delta series. Also included are tools for synthesis, loop-based creation, MP3 management, and more.

Logic Delta is a 24-bit 96kHz audio and MIDI multitrack application optimized for seamless integration with the Delta family of soundcards. Logic Delta provides 16 audio tracks, unlimited MIDI tracks, Mac and PC ASIO drivers, and supports VST and Direct X plug ins. WOW

YOu also get bitheadz retro lite and unity piano, Sonic foundry's Acid express and siren express ,as well as trial versions of the Antares Mic Modeler, Antares Auto Tune, Arboretum Systems’s Ray Gun (vinyl restoration and denoiser), and Cycling 74’s Pluggo (for Mac).

For the price, the delta 1010 system cannot be beat.

Need I say more?

ps. I don't work for m-audio or any audio related company.
I am just an extrememly happy user of the delta 1010 .

software for delta66?

wow, that's wonderful news, thanks for sharing...

i've got a G3 400mhz and i was considering getting a Delta66... i'm basically looking for your basic, cheapish multi-tracker for both analog and digital signals... can you recommend a software? I've been given DeckII, is this any good?

any suggestions would be much appreciated!
