Ahhhh finally I get this song posted up here. I have been trying on mp3.com for weeks and it keeps faffing about and driving me mad. On lycos it is ready to be downloaded the moment it has finished uploading which makes a refreshing change from the days and days wait on mp3.com.
Anyway. This is a significant update of an previous track I have posted here 'dist(unfinished)'. The previous incaranation had an awful mix resulting in crappy sounding drums and stuff. This is possibly how it might be as a finished file, this one has been dragging on for a while now. If you downloaded the previous version (hopefully) you'll notice the much improved drum sound due to some wierd functioning of my yamaha cs1x. The mix also sounds a bit punchier and generally better. Depending on response I may do another final mix. I may have possibly gone a bit top heavy in this going around in cycles of adding more and more top, d'ya reckon?
If you haven't heard this yet it is a light industrial track in the vein of nine inch nails. Main influences: Nine Inch Nails and Ministry. It is one of my first vocal outings although there isn't much vocal there.
Equipment:
Yamaha CS1x
Squire strat
Boss VF-1
Fuzzbox VST effect
Various other VST effects

Thanks in advance for any downloads/comments.
