Has anyone heard the Yorkville YSM1p monitors? What do you like about them? I'm looking for an accurate powered monitor, but the price seems to good to be true.
I haven't heard em... they don't seem to be out.. yet. But I did just buy a pair of JBL SRM25's... and they are great.... they only cost a lil more than the Yorkvilles right now at Musicians Friend, they are going for 480$ a pair..... they sound REALLY good... and are pretty powerful for a smaller room.... I was going to hold out for the Yorks... but I'm glad I went ahead and got the JBL's. good luck
I don't have the "powered" Yorkvilles; however, I can tell you the YSM 1's are very good for the frugal price of between 99 and 102 pezzutos for each one. I love mine. People who stop in my studio can't believe that these two little boxes are making such a great sound.
Enjoy the powered version if you get them; I'm sure they, TOO, will be awesome.
