Ive been told by a representative at Tomm Lee music, that they don't carry yorkville stuff, because it is exclusive to Long and Mcquade. So is this some cheap shit made just for long and mcquade?

Nope.... but the parent company of Long & McQuade do have a stake in the Yorkville company........

The Yorkville stuff overall is quite good, although some of their Apex stuff (their budget brand), is questionable.

yorkville was started in long and mcquade's repair dept in the late 50's, early 60s. the first products were traynor guitar and bass amps.

Long & McQuade own Yorkville. Although yorkville products are not exclusive to Long & McQuade stores, supply can get 'difficult'. Yorkville do make many decent products, my first guitar amp was a yorkville, it rocked! Sorta..

I stand corrected... I thought Ward owned Long & McQuade......!
