LOL Bear. At least he was honest enough to say he only did it for 2 days. It sounds like someone used the mic input on the ol soundblaster. Keep working at writing lyrics and try to go from there. You know music's not something you can do even decently overnight, but don't get discouraged...we all get our start from somewhere.

everyone knows MJ isnt the best but he sells thats why he got a deal, and thats why hes goin Platinum on his 1st release..so apparently he is doin or did something right..

im not sayin you are..i just speaking on everyone talkin about anyone that has a deal about them being good or not..

i stated this before the industry doesnt care about if you can rhyme anymore..the care about record sale and shows...if you selling 30-50 thousand unit they will come at you to market you cause you can make money..

a catchy hook and a nice beat is all you need today...keep it simple and make it a party song and you got a hit..

and why diss someone you dont know..cause he got fame..cause he got a deal by Sayin Mike Jones Comin Soon..he had a plan and a husle and it worked..

i understand a lot of people what this and that done with music..

That's straight knowledge right there. If you're looking to get in the biz, all that matters is numbers. I've heard some rappers that would take over the industry if they had the right numbers and the right promotion. The only reason Mike Jones is the way he is is because that's what worked for him on Swisha House. It's proven to sell and make money, so in their eyes why fix it if it ain't broke? You may not like him, I'll admit that I think his flow is weak, but if you were a label owner and had him on your roster would you cut him (knowing that he's making money and helping support your lifestyle) even though you personally thought he was weak? I don't think so and if you say you would you're lying to yourself. The industry doesn't care what you sound like...they only care about what numbers you can bring to the table. It is a business and it is ran accordingly. If you ever stop to listen to what is popular today, do you stop and listen to the lyrics? If you do, have you noticed the lack in creativity and originality in it? I've heard a lot of bull with a nice beat overshadowing it and a lot of promotion on the artist and watched it sell quickly.
 
May be true, but at least when they have to look back at stuff, it's here in writing so they can't say no one tried to help them out with understanding it.
