Hi guys,

I see this forum is defenatily visited alot.
So i'd thought to post my question right here.
As i may get a answer to it fast!

Well, let's get started.

I just got Cool Edit, and i'd like to know if it is possible to take away vocals.
So what i mean is, when you listen to a number which has vocals,
I want to take those vocals away, and paste them on another number.
Something like this I'm looking for.

If anyone could tell me if this is possible and how to do, it would be appreciated
!

In general, no, it's not possible...

Thanks for information, and sorry for that.

But eh.... had a nightmare orso?

You're less likely to get help if the thread title doesn't relate to your problem andf if you write in stupid font sizes. Now I'll totally contradict myself by offering some help. :D

It's sort of possible to remove the vocals from some recordings using some sort of phase trickery which removes any content that's panned to the centre (which vocals often are). Of course you can lose other stuff panned centre as well such as bass and kick etc.

It's not possible to 'paste' them onto another track though.
