Yet another mix I'd appreciate feedback on

Mix is good. Drums sound particularly solid. I'll be honest and say I personally don't much care for the song though. Not a huge fan of the genre. Also, some of the guitar and vocals sound off beat with each other and the with the drums.

I could agree with jguitar about the off beat.
But that is only when the new instruments comes in - especially the bass at 0.19.

Loved the chorus - very creative.
Loved the song.
 
Yeah, something sounds off in the timing. The mix sounds great though!
 
Sounded OK.

Yeah some weird timing in spots.

The vocals sound very dry compared to the guitars. But it kind of grew on my by the end. Speaking of which, you have about 30 seconds of silence at the end.

The kick is sort of weird - it has a strange attack to it. Overly clicky. The drums in general were a little too busy. personal taste thing.

Guitars could use a little more detail. They're just a bit muffled..

I think the vocals would be much more effective if you slowed the tempo down about 3-5 bpms. they're rushed.
 
How should I tackle the guitar and kick tones? Eq cuts?
 
Tough to say for sure. On the kick - maybe reduce the attack time on your compressor. Or maybe there is an EQ notch somewhere between 2500hz and 5000hz that might help.

On the guitar - I'd retrack. If you had everything else the same as the first tracking., I'd move the mic a little closer to center of the speaker.

These are just suggestions.
 
And maybe it's just me - but the high hats can sound a little piercing at points - not necessarily volume-wise, per say, but sometimes they feel like they're ringing uncomfortably. I like what you do though - I still rock the Jane track now and then, Sonic Youth would be proud.
