Alright - my reluctance is overpowered by my postifisocity. Here goes:

I would love comments, however fiercely critical, about the drum sounds - all aspects. My playing sucks, and I know it affects the sound - I'll get better of the next few (10-15) years, but I also get real drummers in the studio every once a while, and I want to have the "studio kit" ready to go.

That kick aint working for me. It sounds kind of tight and wimpy. I'd personally look for more thud and power. I also sounds like you're barely hitting it. Stomp that bitch. The rest sounds okay for the most part.

I'm reluctant to recommend anything because I just don't know enough about drums. I'd try playing the kick heel up though - there's a light and day difference between that and heel down.
