I love the staccato/hesitation beat on Did You Ever....
Another cool as... bunch songs.
A truly fecund fellow.
I enjoy my doses of Sponto.
 
Hey Walter, great stuff as usual. Say howdy to the Mrs. 'I'll play this groove all night' seems to have a bit too much verb and in spots, the drum lags and gets behind post. 'tell me why I have the blues' seems to be capitalizing on the verb(in the amp) on this one and it sounds a bit ruff. 'my switch don't never turn off' sounds great! Adding some 8th and 16th notes to the Hhat would sure make it movin. Nice full sound on 'I turned that Jimmy Reed beat my own way',sweet soundin harp. The song ends kinda abruptly like it was cut off, maybe add a fade? 'sometimes I have to have a bottle' is pretty much the same. Nice use of the tremelo on 'do you ever feel like the world feels like you?' but it seems to get lost at the end. Well, gotta ramble...thanx for the tunes.

NYMorningstar: thanks for all your feedback too! I will re listen to them. I am spitting out too many songs to mess with the mixes too much, and since they are spontaneously composed, played, and recorded, all at once, there are always technical flaws. I am a flawed player on top of it. I spend a few minutes mixing each one, usually right after I am done playing, and they are done forever. I am not very conventional in my approach, and guess that is part of Spontobeat. Now if I could live 3 lives at once, I could dig into them more :) Walter
