WOW thanks you guys!!
eyeslikefire,
Great Indian sounding name, or cut back on the fire water. Thanks for listening, glad you liked it.
Track,
Yeah, I allways wanted to record this one, but I had to work up the nerve.
I finally got to a degree, just within the last few days where I could go from he intro fan strumming intro to the lead fingerpicking, somewhat smoothly.
On the muddiness, I backed off a little on the 250 cycle attenuation that I use for finalization, since it was a solo guitar. Your right I should have left it in. Great ears!!
Your also right, about putting more feeling into it, I hope someday that more confident playing will allow. Also I recorded this on my electric, as I don't have a clasical.
Charva,
Glad you liked it! I used fingerpicking on this, I don't think you could do it with a flatpick. Yeah I had to keep the volume down, as clean guitar tends to be more dynamic, and I didn't use compresion.
B.SABBATH,
Thanks, I'm addicted to my guitar. You know the feeling, I don't mind the practice. I'm still like a little kid, with a new toy. That's the only way I can come close to playing half ass.
slkeen,
Thanks for the listen. I wouldn't know what to put in place of what Steve Howe put into this one, and wouldn't dare try.
Emeric,
How are you? It seems like there aren't as many of us homerecers from way back when around these parts anymore.
Right on, there is a lot to remember on this song, whew!
Yeah my recording process is still antiqueted, VCR to Computer sound card. As god is my wittness better gear is around the corner. I think it may be time. Thanks!!
