Yamaha YPT-300 midi transfer problem

I got a new keyboard for Christmas and have been practicing music theory since then. I just recently got a Midi-USB cord and connected the 2. I have the software to transfer the User Song's onto my computer, but when it does, it transfers as 05pk.USR file..

My computer and I don't recognize this filetype but apparently it is a user database file and I'll need some software to open it...

(I've been trying to figure this out for a month now and no one can help) thanks

The manual states that the USR file is just a backup of five songs so it is unlikely that you will be able to use it for anything other than backup
