I'm having problems accessing XG on more than one midi track. Having selected XG Soundbank say on track one I can only appear to get GM on any other tracks. Pentium IV. Two HD's with stacks of space OS W2K.
Anyone using a Yamaha SW1000XG Soundcard OSW2K and Sonar XL who can help with settings etc I would appreciated it. I have had a quick look through previous threads and haven't found an answer. I'm still using the Yamaha software XG Works for midi and Sonar for Audio.
It took me yonks to find my way around XG Works, you can read into that that I am a technical disaster. Any pointers appreciated.
Reading the manuals has only succeeded in my requiring stronger glasses
