Yamaha RY9 Rythym Programer?

Do any of you own or use the Yamaha RY9 rythym programer? It looks like a bargain for about $200 bucks.

I would like to know if the drum samples are any good. It looks small enough to travel with, and might work well as a songwriting tool.

It sounds like a songwriting tool. It won't give you realistic drum samples i believe.

Actually it sounds more like a toy. Well to me at least.

Try Boss DR-5 ! It's a songwriting tool with the whole range of band instruments. It has very good drums and some selected instruments ... so that makes it less of a toy compared to the RY-9 which has lousy drums making it nothing to start with.

Of course it's a bit more expensive.
