Hustle Magic!! We Got It.
Want to know will this be great for makin beats and does anyone use it or use to use it..this is the begining of my studio for productions and i still have my Boss DR_660 to add to it...

Lazi is the only one I know here who uses the RM1X and he'll probably be by to drop his comments/experiences with it. Just wanted to point out that the RM1X is now discontinued so you'll probably be able to pick these up for real cheap very soon.

Here's a used one for $429.99, not a bad price, but you can probably find one cheaper elsewhere.

Good luck.

thanks...i think i found 1 off ebay for under 300$

What up?

I've been using a RM1X as my main studio sequencer for about 3 years now. Copped it brand new for $300. Shit is dope as hell. I've used quite a few sequencers and this is the best one. I like it over the MPC and any software cuz of how easy it is to use and it's still hands on. I have used it to run 7 different sound sources at one point... Shit did it easy.

Sounds are kinda cheesy in this joint but they can be worked on with some knob tricks and effects. Most cats (I deal with) that hear a RM1X track seem to think they are butter. I got a track going on my next cd that cats trying to see go to the radio... So I guess it sounds cool in all. I don't know if you heard my Don't it Feel Good song... All that was done on the RM1X. If all you are using now is a DR.660 then it'll be a definate upgrade on the sound side. I pretty much just use the RM1X for sequncering and grab a bass or something synthy out of it every now and then.

If you are looking for a powerful sequncer then The RM1X is the shit. It automatically matches a 4 measure sequnced loop to a 16 measure... Then things like midi delay and adding a octave to what you played (hooks the string parts up). Easy to use mute buttons and just all kinds of good shit. The damn edit functions are all in one menu. 50 patterns and about 20songs... I got about 3 cd's worth of beats on just one floppy...Shit is just lovely dog.

Only things I dislike are that the buttons will go bad so you really need to watch what you are buying on a used one... Might be screwed up. I even wouldn't sell mines cuz my shits are too numbeb out. Gotta get a controller A.S.A.P with one of these cuz those buttons do some nice shit but are hard as hell to deal with when bad. The other thing is it has no sampler... Those two things are why i'm probably gonna upgrade to a RS7000. But the RM1X stays around.

Any ???'s just ask. Peace

thanks for the good info lazi...i didnt get to hear that song and when i went to look it wasnt there...i would like to hear so i can see what i will be able to do with it...thanks

lazi could u reup that song so i can hear it...please

right now the RM1X is goin to be the center peice on my beat lab...so once i get it i gotta figure alot of things out quick and fast..i have a few peeps ready to lace tracks...and i fallin behind on the beats...so this will help alot...i think it will be a good investment...plus i will be able to post some beat up here for review...to see where i stand...

I put one all RM1X track up for you to peep. Just those 2 beats got it over my limit. Let me know when you peep it and i'll shoot up a few more. I got about more I can pt up.

I stuck up a few more for yout to peep.

Really the sounds aren't that bad... Guess I was comparing them to Krg and Roland or something. They sound much better when you use just the RM1X sounds together and some efx.

Like I said the sequncer is of the meters.

i see...i will be able to do alot with it...everything u done was on point...to the sound are nice
