I'm just starting to build up my studio gear. A buddy of mine that my band recorded with recorded my cymbals using a few Yamaha PM-180s, and I remember that it sounded like I was sitting in the room with them it was so clear.
Now he's needing money and he's looking to sell each one (he has 4) for $50 apiece. Does this sound reasonable, or could I get something better?
Also I've heard that these can be made to have 6 direct outs each, although unbalanced and with only 50 dB gain without adding transformers.
