Yamaha MX12/4, Any Good?

Does anyone have comments on this Mixer? I have my choices down to a Mackie 1202 VLZ Pro, and the Yamaha MX 12/4/ Heard raves on the Mackie. I need a simple Mixer for home recording.

yeah.. it's really bang for the buck.. go get it.. you can get it for as low as 300$ ... and the reverb on it aint bad either..
