yamaha mt 120 or other 4 track cassette recorders

I'm planning on getting a digital 16 track recorder in the next year or so, but in the meantime, I thought I might try to get a 4track cassette to tide me over. Looks like I can get a Yamaha MT-120 for around $140. Anyone have experience with these? Or would you recommend something else for a similar price?

I've got an MT120 and I really like it. Pretty much all in one...mixer, fx loop, eq, runs at 9.5 ips...I just used it and an fx unit for awhile before I picked up some other equipment. Got mine off of ebay for about the price range you are looking for. Yamaha web site has the documentation for it still too.

the yamaha is good for your stated purposes
