Anyone With Any Of The Yamaha MSP Mointers.....

Please Give Your Feedback On There Performance....

Also I Was Considering Purchasing The MSP5 For My New Project Studio.... I LOVE YAMAHA!!!!

I have the MSP5's.

Never owned only other monitors, but I did check out a bunch of others in the sub $500 range. Do a search on this BBS as there are sooooo many threads on this subject...

Tight sound. Small footprint and plenty loud for near fields.....

I got mine on ebay, but I also got quoted $229 each at
www.riksmusic.com and free S/H.

.....the JBL25's are good also.

Either are great 1st monitors.

I have the MSP5 also.... no complaints!

It's one of the good choice sub-$500 a pair monitors.

The bi-amp feature is also a plus!

There are MUCH better options than the MSP5. I wouldnt even use the MSP5 as a 4th reference. Its notched all over the place and has a bizzare lower mid/mid mid response. The only new yamaha speaker worth anything is the MSP10s which is being discontinued.

MSP5s = good...except for the bass response,,but that's not toooo bad either...excellent value for money
