Yamaha MO8 Sequencer Questions

Digital whaaa?
I've been researching this synth for four days now and I'm either too fricken' old to understand what I'm reading or it just doesn't have this function.

I know it has an on-board sequencer. What I'm trying to find out is if I can record muti-track parts in real time by playing each part all the way through a piece.

I don't want a pattern chained together, and I don't want make up phrases, I just want to play the damned part myself and record it to a track in real time.

Will this synthesizer allow me to record tracks in this fashion? :confused:

I want to know the very same thing... as soon as you figure it out or get an answer, please inform me.

I've now owned the board for two years and haven't been able to do anything with it besides play. It's frustrating to have a piece of equipment to so full of potential and yet be so unable to take a crack at it.
