the edirol is quite new. all i can say is to try the mg for yourself.
a lot of folks like the mg. terratec also have a broad range including firewire offerings as well. due to the pace of new product introductions its really hard finding user reviews often.
i personally have been saving up for a RME solution, but its expensive.
